The Vine is a vibrant, non-denominational English-speaking church in Hong Kong, made up of a local and international community. During my time as the creative director, I led a team of in-house creatives as well as a volunteer team of artists who helped shape the visual and creative elements for all ongoing programs and events. I determined the visual style and designed the thematic posters displayed throughout the building for each speaking series.
This visual design of this series represents the massive undertaking of the story of humanity, as seen through the eyes of faith; the themes of this narrative are life, presence/intimacy, rest/sabbath, rebellion/separation, and restoration. These five themes are represented graphically through their own series of abstract posters, each with its own shapes, grid and color scheme.
I also created a series of desktop wallpapers based on the poster series, as an extra bonus for people to download and use on their personal devices, and created all the artwork for the DVD series, including a resource booklet and seven disks of content.
